Yes, expenses will increase as you grow but you can start out smart and the key is being strategic with your expenses and choices. Spend where it is necessary.
You are unknown in your industry of choice at the moment. You haven’t had any clients or customers who can attest to how amazing you are. You really have no system in place for working with other people but know when you get a client you will rock it.
Well let me tell you…
Having a system before clients can actually be the secret you are missing. You don’t need the fancy email provider that helps you create a sales funnel or some fancy landing page software or webinar software. These are things that you don’t need.
Why? You don’t have an audience to support these expenses yet so slow down, take it one step at a time, master one thing, create your systems, and know that success online takes time.
Are the services you want to provide priced accordingly? Do you even know what you want to offer? What makes your service stand apart from the competition? Yes, it will be amazing because it is coming from you but how are you standing out? Great customer experience, fast turnaround, beautiful visuals, a great user experience, etc.
Maybe services aren’t your thing and you would rather launch a product because you heard the story of the person who launched their program and made 80K from that one launch. I assure you that person worked hard to make that happen.
Could that be you? Absolutely but you need to create the most amazing plan full of focus and strategy to make it happen.
What do you need to make it happen?
A brand that is clear on messaging and positioning. An easy to navigate website that actually works for you. A strategic marketing plan that helps you grow your subscriber list. An email marketing plan to connect with your subscribers. The list is pretty extensive.
But, most importantly, a product or service that speaks to your target audience. It is something that they need. They know they need it because you used all of the right words to attract them and you covered all aspects of the subject.
How are you going to do all of these things? And where do you start first?
In this case, reverse engineering might not be the answer. The answer is start with your target audience to determine what they need and how you can solve their problems then work your way forward. Slowly but strategically.
